Origin:

Bred by Gerrit Pieter Ilsink (Netherlands, before 2007).
Introduced in Netherlands by Eurogreen Hulder in circa 2007 as 'Splendid Ruffles'.

Class:

Polyantha (Europe).

Bloom:

Yellow. Average diameter 2.25". Medium, double (17-25 petals), ruffled bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Bushy, compact, dense.

Height: 40" to 4'2" (100 to 125cm). Width: 20" to 30" (50 to 75cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
