'98H224' rose Description

Bloom:
Deep pink, white center, golden-yellow stamens. Deep pink with white eye. Mild, rose fragrance. 20 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, rosette bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Ovoid buds.
Habit:
Short, compact, rounded. Glossy, medium green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Height: 2' to 3' (60 to 90cm). Width: 2' to 39" (60 to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b. Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Disease susceptibility: disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
