'Kimberley Patio Hit ®' rose Description

Class:

Bloom:
Deep pink, light pink outer petals. Moderate, rose fragrance. 50 to 70 petals. Average diameter 1.25". Small, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Compact. Glossy, dark green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: up to 8.5" (up to 20cm). Width: up to 5" (up to 13cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose or garden.

The present discovery constitutes a new and distinct variety of a miniature pot rose plant which was discovered in a cultivated area. The mutation resulted from `POULhi008`, a miniature pot rose hybridized by the same inventors. ....Asexual reproduction of `POULhi017` by cuttings and traditional budding was first done by L. Pernille and Mogens N. Olesen in their nursery in Fredensborg, Denmark in 1998.
