Origin:
Bred by A.C. Tunningley (United States, 2004).
Class:
Unknown.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Breeder's notes:
Flowers resemble Tigris but are larger and have much better substance. Short, stout growth. Not "willowy" like many Hybrid Hulthemias. Somewhat prone to blackspot and dieback under poor conditions but healthy and easy to grow when given special attention. Hardiness is unknown.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The pollen parent here is a proprietary seedling created by Ralph Moore. The "R. californica" used is a dwarf form. It has been theorized by Fred Boutin that it may be instead be R. spithamea. (Added and reported by Robert Neil Rippetoe 1-9-07)
