Bred by L. Pernille Olesen (Denmark, 1997). Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1997).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 2002 as 'Capitoule'.
Class:
Mini-Flora.   (Series: Palace ® Collection)  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Mild, wild rose fragrance.  65 to 75 petals.  Average diameter 1.75".  Small to medium, very full (41+ petals), in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, compact, upright.  Semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm).  Width: up to 16" (up to 40cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders or container rose.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of garden rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between the female parent, `POULgrad`, described and illustrated in U.S. Plant Pat. No. 11,610 dated Oct. 31, 2000, and the male parent, an unnamed seedling. The two parents were crossed during the summer of 1997
