'Betsy Broughton' rose Description

Bloom:
Cream. White with golden stamens. Blush pink. Average diameter 1.5". Single (4-8 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, spreading.
Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Patents:

Notes:
Betsy Broughton 1807-1891 survived the Boyd massacre in 1809. She was taken by a local chief who kept her for three weeks before rescue. She was then taken onwards to Rio de Janeiro, from where she returned to Sydney in May 1812.
