Bloom:
Crimson. None / no fragrance. 25 to 30 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Large, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact, spreading, well-branched. Medium, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm). Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Heat tolerant. prefers full sun. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
