Bloom:
Yellow. Mild, fruity fragrance. 52 to 72 petals. Average diameter 2.25". Medium-large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, reflexed bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Glandular sepals, leafy sepals, pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Bushy, compact, upright. Medium green foliage. 3 to 5 leaflets.
Height: 18" to 2' (45 to 60cm). Width: 1' to 16" (30 to 40cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) . Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
