Bred by Madame Paul Desse (France, before 1854).
Introduced in France by Denis-Germain Dauvesse in 1854 as 'Comtesse d'Orléans'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Light pink, lilac shading.  Delicate flesh-pink with lilac shading.  Medium to large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.
