Introduced in France by Moulin aîne et fils in 1849 as 'Général Changarnier'.

Bloom:

Violet - purple, darker center. Slaty, crown center. Moderate fragrance. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
