Origin:
Bred by Joseph Sauvageot (France, 1921).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1924 as 'Souvenir de Paul Grandelaude'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, salmon-pink reverse, deep yellow undertones.  Strong fragrance.  Large, semi-double to double, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
üFrom "Livre d'Or de la Grande Guerrwe2;A Paul Grandelaude in the Savoie region of France possibly invented rollerskis in 1898.
