Bred by Theodor F. Verschuren (1931- (Netherlands, 1960).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Blaby Rose Gardens in 1960 as 'Blaby's Monarch'.

Bloom:
Rose-pink.  Strong fragrance.  40 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.
