Bred by Josef Havel (Czech Republic, 1994).

Bloom:

White, apricot shading. Cream to yellow. Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Large, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Notes:

Named in honour of Ingeborg Riemenschneider, the late spokeswoman of the Dortmund section of the German Rose Society VDR, who had so often accomodated Mr. Havel when he visited VDR-sessions and other rose events in Germany. This rose was for a long time only spread privately among rose lovers. Now Rose breeder Noack of Bielefeld offers the rose through custom propagation. (courtesy Giuseppe)
