Bloom:
Salmon-pink. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 4". Medium, very full (41+ petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, flat, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, bushy. Medium, matte, medium green foliage.
Height: 2' (60cm). Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
'Bliss' is named for a little girl, Bliss Daniels, who lost both her brother Rhys and her sister Charly to late infantile Batten's disease, a rare and incurable illness. Bliss is happily free from the disease, as is her new little sister, Hope. Their parents, Barry and Carmen Daniels, are now able to devote themselves to a project to raise money for other parents facing similar situations.
