Deep pink Hybrid Tea.
Registration name: Virginia Dare (hybrid tea, Thompson, 1934)
Origin:
Bred by J.H. Thompson's Sons (United States, 1934).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
The birth of Virginia Dare on August 18, 1587 made her the first child born in America of English parents. Virginia was born only days after the colonists' arrival on Roanoke Island, North Carolina.
