Origin:
Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, 1895).
Introduced in Australia by C. H. Halstead in 1899 as 'Antoine Rivoire'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, carmine-pink shading, carmine-pink reverse, yellow undertones.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Dense, upright.  

Height: 3' (90cm).  Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.

Named after a nurseryman of Lyon (Antoine Issac Rivoire - Rivoire père et fils [Philippe Rivoire], rue d'Algérie 16), France (1857 Lyon - March 1932).
