Discovered by Charles Mallerin (France, before 1943). Discovered by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1943).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1943 as 'Stefanovitch'.

Dark red.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
