Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
White.  None / no fragrance.  36 petals.  Average diameter 5.5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, cupped, high-centered bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing, well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm).  Width: 4' (120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b and warmer.  Very hardy.  a good subject for pegging.  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.  prefers dry climates.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  Prune lightly or not at all.

Notes:
Schneekönigin is the German word for Snow Queen. 'Frau Karl Druschki' is the best known white Hybrid Perpetual, but it is completely lacking in scent. Some authorities consider it to be a Hybrid Tea.

Klara Hildach, married Karl Druschki (1844 - June 19, 1902), merchant (wholesale of wood) at Lindenweg 3, Görlitz, who was a founding member and since 1893 president of the German Society of Rosefriends. [see "Adressbuch der Stadt Görlitz 1912/13" and "Stadtbild", Görlitz, February 2013]
