Origin:

Bred by Edward Burton Le Grice (1902-1977) (United Kingdom, 1935).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1936 as 'Crimson Beauty'.

Class:

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Crimson, scarlet shading, brown shading. Moderate fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Well-branched. Dark green, leathery foliage.

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
