Dark red.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Proceeds from the sale of 'Beatrice McGregor' were donated to the National Rose Society of Victoria.
The references differ as to whom this rose was named for - Alister Clark’s gardener’s wife, or a Tasmanian rosarian. Refer 1929, 1953 and 2010 references.
