Discovered by Karsten Schmidt (Germany, 1935).
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 1935 as 'Orange Rapture'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1937 as 'Orange Rapture'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange-pink.  Strong, old rose fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Large, glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
