Arena Roses 1999 Catalog presents a list of roses hybridized by the Guillot Family. This is one of the roses that is on that list. Comte George Louis Leclerc de Buffon, influential French naturalist and theorist, was born 7 September 1707 in Montbard, Côte d'Or, France. He died April 16, 1788 in Paris, France.
