On their website, Meilland lists 'Puy du Fou' var. MEIrecrom (Selection Meilland 2001) - Orange tangerine.

EXOTICA’ (hybrid tea/ florist rose, Alain Meilland, 1997) (MEIrecrom) = ‘PONCHO ARGENTINO’, named this way in the "Argentine National Flower Festival" that took place in Escobar, in 2003 (organized by Telmo Hisaki); since the colours of this rose reminds the bright colours of our “poncho”, a very typical clothing widely used by our “gauchos”, designed to keep the body warm, especially in Northern Argentina.
