Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, before 1944).
Introduced in Germany by Rosen-Tantau/Tantau Roses in 1946 as 'Fanal'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Rose-red.  Moderate fragrance.  up to 20 petals.  Semi-double to double, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 20" to 32" (50 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders or container rose.
