Crimson - scarlet. Mild fragrance. Average diameter 5". Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long, pointed buds.
Habit:
Tall, climbing, few or no prickles/thorns. Large, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: 5' to 17' (150 to 520cm). Width: up to 8' (up to 245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for garden or pillar. Hardy. vigorous. a good subject for pegging. heat tolerant. produces decorative hips.
