Bred by Jack E. Christensen (United States, 1986).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light yellow.  Opinions vary fragrance.  30 petals.  Large, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright.  Semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .

Notes:
Jack Christensen describes this as a yellow Hybrid Tea with contrasting reddish foliage...
'Lanvin' is a very long lasting bloom, with long stems. Authors have noted veining on the petals and a lack of hips.
