Discovered by Unknown Japanese Breeder(s) (Japan, before 1940).
Introduced in Japan by The Chugai Nursery in 1940 as 'Kirin-nishiki'.
Class:
Hybrid suffruticosa.  
Bloom:
Pink, white mottling.  Cactus-form.  Medium, double bloom form.
