Introduced in United States by Mrs J. A. Hanratty in 1958 as 'John Gardner'.

Bloom:

Red, ages to rose-red . Staminoids edged golden yellow. Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form. Late midseason.

Habit:

Medium.

Height: up to 32" (up to 80cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 2a and warmer.
