Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1939 as 'World's Fair'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1948 as 'Minna Kordes'.

Bloom:
Crimson, ages to scarlet .  Moderate, spice fragrance.  18 to 20 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, semi-double to double, cluster-flowered, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Leathery foliage.
