Discovered by William Paul and Son (after 1906) (United Kingdom, 1918).
Introduced in United States by A.N. Pierson, Inc. in 1918 as 'Evelyn'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink to salmon-pink, white edges, white shading, yellow undertones.  Strong fragrance.  45 to 50 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 3a through 3b.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Note: Modern Roses 10 lists two separate roses by this name. This one and another they attribute to A.N. Pierson. The Old Rose Adventurer puts a rose called 'Evelyn' by Pierson and Paul under one entry. See References and separate listing for Pierson's 'Evelyn' for more information.
