Notes:
An important parent rose. Sets hips. The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden says the breeder of Daisy Hill is Smith... and in Roll Call: The Old Rose Breeder, Brent C. Dickerson says the breeder is T. Smith, Daisy Hill Nursery.
The 2002 Catalogue from Pépinières Loubert also says the breeder is Smith and assigns a date of 1906. Jäger says breeder is Desportes.
