I like old roses, especially, Gallica, Alba, and Damask. I'm currently adding to a rose hedge that encircles the yard.

My expertise and other interest is in collecting garden books with a focus on rose books and catalogs. Graham Stuart Thomas is my favorite author on roses. Rivers and Ellwanger both also have very great books on roses.
