Grow roses in a large yard in inner melbourne. My favourite roses are without exception powerfully fragrant. I have spent many years building up my non-existent top soil by building raised beds, incorporating compost and manure and mulching. I am no longer willing to spray my roses. I now grow roses in a way that respects the health of my family and the environment.
