Rosa webbiana growing in the wild at 12,000 ft in Shyok River Valley near Khaplu, Pakistan. Bushes are growing near the water inlet of Riochug Tsu Lake. Please note that there is no other large size bush / tree at this height. The only other large size plant that I could find in the area (not seen in photo) was Betula utilis, the paper tree. Rosa webbiana grows in abundance in such areas.
