[From www.welt-der-rosen.de] Carl Wilhelm Mietzsch (1830-1890) (also Mietzsche, Mietz) had a nursery in Dresden with about 100 varieties and introduced cultivars bred by Türke - see. A catalogue is still known from 1898.
