[From Rosen-Zeitung, 1893, p. .] The "Rose Name Interpreter" will hopefully appear at the beginning of October in a much larger and improved edition; it will not only provide new names for the new roses from the last three years, but also a number of older varieties that can be found in several catalogs from good German companies found, and which had not yet been taken into account when my book was first edited. Furthermore, this new edition contains the changes in the spelling of mythological, historical or geographical rose names approved by the Rose Congress in 1892, as well as a number of other corrections and further information about the meaning of individual names, or about the personalities after which roses were named.....Ratzeburg near Lübeck.
