I loved reading this story about Dee Bennett and miniature roses. I recently planted my first Dee Bennett miniature rose and was rewarded by it's first bloom this early morning much to my delight. She's quite a beauty. I was just asked to be interviewed by local Channel 99 television and begin a gardening segment show if our first segment show does well. I will have aprox. 4-5 minutes each time. I will talk about growing roses in the Desert heat, organic vegetable, herb & fruit gardening and soil ammendments, pruning & care of roses. I am a member of the Rose & Orchid Society here in Las Vegas/Henderson area and won Queen of Show in 2005 for my Grandiflora "Gold Medal" rose and many ribbons and awards for my mini's.
