Yes, I can give the provenance. We ordered our Madame Bérard way back from roses-guillot.com in France.

thank you very much. i received obviously this rose from guillot when i ordered 'mme jules gravereaux'. at least it resembles a lot to what john hook of frenchtearoses shows in the next picture. to my opinion, this item doesn't match what is described as 'mme bérard' in early literature: light green foliage instead of dark one for example.

thank you very much patricia. would like toq mention that pedicels of my plant 'ex guillot' are all over smooth and branches are bearing prickles on new growth.

caused by the mix up of guillot i'm unsure of what they gave me instead of mme jules gravereay. it should be one of the items in their catalogue - bouquet d'or or mme bérard. could you please check the pictures of my entry above to help me out.
