Liz Klose is superintendent of the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture where she has taught since 1991. Liz is also curator of the Rose Garden, the Herb Garden and the Vegetable Garden at the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. A graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science (Honours Agriculture), Liz Klose has worked in horticulture, agriculture, public relations and the wine industry. Liz is a frequent speaker to garden clubs, plant societies, conferences and schools. She also is often called in as an expert guest on television gardening programs. To top this list of accomplishments off, she's now co-authored a book with Laura Peters of Lone Pine Publishing called Roses for Ontario. This newly released book (2003) is a practical and beautifully photographed guide to 144 varieties of roses recommended for growing in Ontario.
