Agostino Mandirola (d. 1661 Vicenza), Doctor of Theology, Franciscan Monk. Published "Manuale de Giardinieri diviso in tre libri" in Macerata 1649, Vicenza 1652, Venice 1667, 1675 and 1684, Roveredo 1733. A similar "Il Giardino de' Fiori" was published in Ferrara in 1650, differing only in Title and Introduction, but with same content. A German translation "Der neu aufgesetzte Blumen-Gärtner" 1670 in Nürnberg and "Der Italiänische Blumen- und Pomeranzen-Garten" issued 1679 in Nürnberg; a French translation "Manuel du jardinier" in Paris, 1765.
