In general, the garden in Kalnupes is new and yet just formed. The garden is located in the North East of Latvia, in the highlands of Vidzeme, 230 m above the level of the Baltic sea.
The first roses were planted in 2013. There are more than 60 different roses in my garden now. There are also 3 clematis and 20 peonies. Peonies are the oldest plants in Kalnupes: they have been planted already in the 20s of the 20th century.
