I am a David Austin rose addict. I grow approx 60 Austins, 22 Kordes, 11 Meilland, and a handful of other roses. I'm particularly drawn to orange/apricot roses. I generally prefer roses that have a strong fragrance as well. I live in a zone with harsh winters, but have been able to keep my roses alive. I rarely, if ever lose one. I'm not a 100% organic gardener, but probably close to 95% organic. I also strongly believe in feeding the soil. I have been very successful with rooting roses and enjoy trading cuttings. I am very interested in finding someone to trade for some Tantau roses and 1 special David Austin that I am having trouble locating. I post on the Garden Web forums as "hcarnevale".
