E.G. Hill Co. - 1909 (catalog)

Phyllis
Grows to a height of about 2 feet, very bushy and branching habit; it produces long feathery panicles of flowers in constant succession, commencing in June and never ceasing to bloom until killed by autumn frosts. The color is a pretty bright carmine pink, shading to white in the center. It is a fine novelty, much the best and brightest rose of this kind yet introduced. An ideal rose for bedding and massing and there is not another rose to equal it for decorative use in pots. $10 per 100.
