This is a very interesting plant! Arrived from Vintage Gardens as a band in October 2012. It was potted up in a 1 gallon pot for a short time only as it grew rapidly. I put in in the ground not that long ago, and now it is about to bloom for the first time. This is only one of multiple buds the plant currently has. The buds are fuzzy/prickly and really show the influence of Roxburghi while the leaves indicate rugosa. Can't wait to see the open flowers.
