01-23-12 St Clair Shores, MI Very hardy, vigorous and TALL. Has reached a height of 12 feet now and that is with having it's canes bent and circled back around and tied to the trellis. So it's probably even tall than that. It is almost always green to the tips each spring. Blooms heavily in spring in large sprays but does repeat often through the season. The fragrance is very strong and sweet. Because it has become a climber for me the bottom of the plant is rather bare (I've planted another rose in front of it to hide this). It does black spot rather badly and will shed most of it's leaves but it continues to grow and bloom regardless. All in all a really spectacular rose!
