Bloom:
Seashell-pink. Moderate, fruity fragrance. Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters, cupped-to-flat, old-fashioned bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Medium, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Tall, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.
Growing:
Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden. Vigorous. heat tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
Breeder's notes:
Not patented, this fragrant modern shrub rose has very good to excellent disease resistance. The rose was offered to a nonprofit that used it in their fundraising auction for naming rights to the highest bidder. The rose was named in honor of the wonderful lady, Ouida Champness, of Bakersfield, CA.
