Rosa x piptocalyx Juz. Fl. USSR 10: 637. 1941 Natural hybrid in the mountains of Tajikistan. Described by S. V. Juzepczuk in "Flora of the USSR". The parentage is shown as R. beggeriana Schrenk x R. fedtschenkoana Regel in "Vascular Plants of Russia and Adjacent States (the Former USSR)" by S. K. Czerepanov (1981, translated 1995).
