Origin:
Bred by Unknown (before 1936).
Discovered by Barbara May (Australia, before 2003).
Class:
Found Rose, Bermuda Rose, Noisette.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Lilac pink.  Small, in small clusters bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Growing:
Can be used for understock.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
"Unknown Warrior" (syn "Hazlewood's Evergreen") and the "Velvet Leafed Rose" may or may not be the same rose. We have temporarily presumed that they are until further information comes to hand.

Mentioned in Jane Zammit's list of Rookwood roses August 10, 2007 wherein she noted once flowering, probably rootstock, similar to velvet-leafed thing.
