Notes:
Who knows what its parents are. I was at San Jose Heritage Garden and collected seeds from the spinoissima section of the garden. It had a faded tag. I thought it could have been Harrison's Yellow, but it could also be any of the roses around that area. I fed the seeds to my pet ringneck dove, Dorian... hence, the name. I rescued Dorian in 2005. A friend had discovered her in the street, starving and sick. He gave her to me thinking I could save her. And I did. I thought she was a wild morning dove, but she's a very tame ringneck that could never survive in the wild. So, I kept her. This rose will probably be shared with others because it suckers freely, but it's not invasive.
