Introduced in France by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1964 as 'Mers du Sud'.

Bloom:
Coral-pink.  Moderate fragrance.  48 petals.  Average diameter 6.5".  Very large, very full (41+ petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Leathery foliage.  

Height: 2' to 32" (60 to 80cm).
